Become a volunteer Jubilee Path Warden! 🌳

The Parish Council is looking for volunteers to help look after West Walton’s Jubilee Path. Following the retirement of our long-standing wardens, we need new “eyes on the ground” to:

• Monitor the condition of the walking route.
• Identify and report signs or posts in need of repair.
• Help the Parish Council stay on top of essential maintenance.

Small Allotment Plots approx. 500m² – Bellamys Lane, West Walton

Ready to grow your own?

West Walton Parish Council has three allotment plots available at Bellamys Lane (just off River Road).

Each plot is approximately 500m²—the perfect size to grow your own fruit and vegetables. At just £20 per year, it’s an affordable way to get outdoors and enjoy fresh, home-grown produce.

The plots are currently vacant and waiting for a new pair of hands. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a complete beginner wanting to “have a go,” we’d love to hear from you.

West Walton Parish Council and St Mary’s Parochial Church Council have been fortunate to receive donations of hedging and a tree for the Queen’s Green Canopy for the Platinum Jubilee.  There will be an Oak arbour with a holly and a yew at each end in the Paddock and a new commemorative bench is to be installed.  In the Churchyard, a magnolia has been planted.
